To avoid an arranged marriage to a wealthy heiress, organised by his aunt, a young man of good family passes Chérie, a night club hostess, off as a rich aristocrat. Persuaded that he's found the ideal partner, and having fallen totally under Chérie's charm, the family agrees to the marriage...
