Mohamed, a shepherd living in the Tunisian countryside with his wife and two sons, is deeply disturbed by the return from Syria of his elder son Malik, accompanied by a mysterious wife. The tension between the two men gradually builds until things reach breaking point.

Rather than taking over the family business, Death's son dreams of becoming a guardian angel. But in trying to exercise his talents as a benefactor, he triggers a series of catastrophes. And his father has to intervene...

The father didn't particularly want to read his son's autobiographical comic book, particularly as he's "naked every other panel". But the two men find themselves together in the south of France, and take the opportunity to try to reconnect.

Five volunteer outreach workers, pride of France's humanitarian conscience, all good-looking, kind and energetic, introduce themselves to a homeless Tamil and offer food, smiles and show they care... The story of how to humiliate someone whilst keeping a perfectly clear conscience.
