On the Way of St James, from Burgundy to the Pyrenees
Pilgrims have crossed France since mediaeval times, heading for Santiago de Compostela. Our epic journey follows one of the four French routes leading to the Spanish sanctuary: the Voie de Vézelay, in deepest Burgundy. We stop off at the Saint Front cathedral in Périgueux before heading to the Pyrenees.
