In Abisara's salon, styling hair is far more than just a question of beauty. It's also a political gesture. Through the history of both Abisara and Sophie, who travels back toher Haitian roots, they recount the reality lived by those of African descent.

We set our heading for Laval and Walid's salon. Lebanese, this former hairdresser to the stars now yearns for a more peaceful life. His customers are "superwomen" for whom their appearanceis as important as their political, social and moral stance.
