A garden for nature

Regula Gysel's natural garden, in Wilchingen, in the canton of Schaffhouse, has been designed to welcome as wide a range as possible of insects and other small animals. Transformed from what was previously a herb garden, it is filled with nesting sites and plants rich in pollen and nectar.

A collector's garden

In Erlenbach, near Zurich, Hanspeter Burkhard and Arnold Wiessmann have succeeded in concentrating an incredible level of diversity in a surprisingly small space. Whilst Arnold supervises the beauty of the garden, Hanspeter constantly brings new species from his travels to complete his collection.
