Islamisme : la République a-t-elle fermé les yeux ?
Islamism: has the French state closed its eyes?
On 9 December 2020, exactly 115 years after France's founding law on secularism came into force, the government presented a bill to "reinforce republican principles". The formula itself may be wide-ranging, but the French president had clearly indicated the adversary: Islamist separatism.
Guests: Frédérique de La Morena, senior lecturer in public law, member of the Conseil des Sages de la Laïcité; Clémentine Autain, MP for La France Insoumise, Seine-Saint-Denis; Razika Adnani, philosopher, islamologist.
Presented by: Jacques Cardoze.
